Ministry of Labor announced unprecedented increase in salaries of Russians

Salaries in Russia are growing at an unprecedented pace, both in real and nominal terms, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, Maxim Topilin.
For this year, wages increased by almost 11 percent.
As Topilin says, this was affected by an increase in the minimum wage to the level of the subsistence minimum and the execution of May decrees.
According to the official forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development, the growth of real wages next year will be 1.4%. In 2020, it will accelerate to 1.9%, in 2021, to 2.5%.
As reported by Bashinform News Agency, the average salary of workers, including small business organizations, exceeded 33,028 rubles in Bashkortostan in August of the current year. This is by 8 percent more than in August 2017.
Traditionally, those who are engaged in the production of coke and petroleum products receive the highest salaries in the region - 77,441 rubles on average.
In general, in the first eight months of this year, the average salary in the republic was 32,227 rubles. This is by 9.5 percent more than in January-August 2017.
