Four major dairy complexes will appear in Bashkiria

A construction of four large dairy-commodity complexes is supposed in three districts of Bashkortostan. A meeting on the implementation of the state program for the development of the dairy industry in the republic was held by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov on October 5. This was announced at a briefing session by the Prime Minister of the Government RB, Rustem Mardanov.

“On October 5, the issues of the dairy strategy, which was adopted at a meeting of the Government RB, were considered. Two meetings were held, one of which was devoted to the implementation of a large-scale investment project of EkoNiva-APK Holding LLC in the republic. In accordance with this project, a construction of four large dairy-commodity complexes with a total population of more than 15 thousand heads of milking herd in the territory of three districts - Ermekeevo, Belebey (two farms) and Bizhbulyak is planned. The total investment is about 16 billion rubles”, said Rustem Mardanov.

According to him, there is also a project for the construction of a milk processing plant with a capacity of 1,200 tons per day, related to the previous one. Here the volume of investments is 20 billion rubles.

Earlier, the Head of Bashkortostan, Rustem Khamitov, said that the Bashkortostan potential in the dairy industry was significant.

“More than 1,000 agricultural producers are engaged in the production of milk. Total, there are over 1,200 dairy farms and complexes. It’s their main activity for more than 400 farmers, not to mention hundreds of thousands of farm households”, said Rustem Khamitov. “Our task is to continue developing what has been done previously for many years and to make this industry modern, technological so that milk will become one of the growth points of rural economy”.
