Bashkiria has exported more than 200 thousand tons of grain

In the first nine months of this year, elevators of the republic shipped 334 thousand tons of grain, including the new crop. Of these, 216.5 thousand tons were exported abroad. According to the Department of Food Markets Development of the Ministry of Agriculture RB, mainly wheat, barley, and buckwheat were exported from the region. The geography of grain supplies includes Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Belgium, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, and Iran.
For the first six months, Bashkiria exported 190 thousand tons of grain crops, the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic reported. For the same period in 2017, grain exports were ten times less - 18.8 thousand tons.
As previously reported, farmers expected milling wheat prices to rise by 18% compared with the last year. The Ministry of Agriculture RB planned to sell wheat for export at $ 232 per ton (more than 15 thousand rubles). Last year, the cost of feed grain fell to 8 thousand rubles per ton.
