Bashkiria tourist potential was presented at international exhibition in Tokyo

The tourist potential of Bashkiria was presented at the International Tourism Exhibition JATA Tourism Expo Japan in Tokyo at the stand of the Russian Federation. The republic’s own tourist brand was used in the design of the exhibition, the State Committee for Tourism and Entrepreneurship RB underlined.

“Over four days, the exhibition was visited by over 200 thousand visitors from 130 countries. B2B negotiations were held with Japanese travel companies. Representatives of the Association of Tour Operators of Japan (JATA) will come next year to Ufa to resolve issues regarding hosting Japanese tourists in Bashkiria”, the agency informed.

The specialists are planning to promote actively Bashkiria’s tourist products to Asia, and this year has become the key one for networking. In early September, a familiarization tour for Japanese journalists was held, in the summer for representatives of South Korean media. In August, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov spoke about the participation of our republic in the Tokyo exhibition at a meeting with the Plenipotentiary Minister of the Japanese Embassy in Russia Tokuro Furuya.
