Central Bank gave forecast for gasoline prices

UFA, 1 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Until the end of 2018, gasoline and diesel fuel will not rise in price, the Central Bank's report on monetary policy says. This is informed by Izvestia.

The Ministry of Economic Development stated that they agreed with the regulator's forecast. In general, in the country at the end of summer, gasoline cost 43.27 rubles per liter, diesel - 44.53 rubles per liter. Preservation of the cost of fuel will be facilitated by measures taken by the government, expansion of the volume of exchange sales and observance by the major oil companies of agreements on freezing prices.

However, experts note that gasoline and diesel retailers now work at a loss, and from the new year prices may rise due to an increase in excises and tax maneuver in the oil industry.
