Kuwait is interested in Bashkir honey and koumiss

On September 26, a delegation of Bashkortostan presented the economic and investment potential of the republic at the Agricultural Agency of the State of Kuwait. The presentation was made by the Chairman of the State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations Ruslan Mirsayapov, who named oil and gas and petrochemicals production, design and construction of oil refining complexes, as well as services in this area as priority sectors of cooperation. Also, the export of multipurpose helicopters, chemical products, and woodworking products are among the promising areas.

The republic is ready to supply agricultural halal products, grain, vegetables and mineral water to Kuwait. Entrepreneurs of Bashkiria presented technologies for breeding difficult-to-cultivate plants, desalination of water. Particular attention was drawn to the production of honey and sublimed koumiss, as well as a description of the beneficial properties of both products.

More than 40 companies from Kuwait took part in the presentation. During the B2B meetings between the business structures of Bashkortostan and Kuwait, contacts were established for further interaction. Negotiations are planned with the leadership of state bodies and visits to enterprises.
