Housing construction decreased by 14.9% in Bashkortostan

In Bashkortostan, 14.4 thousand apartments with a total area of ​​1 million 197.4 thousand square meters were put into operation in January-August. This is 14.9% less than for the same period last year, according to statistics.

Among the regions of the Volga Federal District, Bashkortostan takes the second position after Tatarstan (1 million 458.4 thousand square meters). Our republic takes the fourth place in terms of housing per capita.

The bulk of the residential buildings construction (74%) is accounted for individual developers. They built 8,224 residential houses with an aggregate area of ​​885,800 "squares" for eight months - 10.4% less than the level of January-August last year. Developers - legal entities put into operation 311.6 thousand square meters of housing (minus 25.3%).
