Bashkortostan plans to produce drugs for bees that do not contain antibiotics

The problems of bee diseases diagnosis and treatment, as well as the production of highly effective bee medicines, will be discussed at the XLVII International Beekeeping Congress "Apimondia". The Congress will be held in Bashkortostan in 2021. This was discussed at a meeting dedicated to the preparation for the forum, which was conducted by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov.

According to the president of the Russian National Union of Beekeepers Arnold Butov, these issues have not been addressed for a long time. The ineffectiveness of drugs causes many diseases in bees. At the same time, Bashkortostan scientists have experience in the field of medicines production for bees. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan - Minister of Agriculture RB Ilshat Fazrakhmanov said that negotiations were underway with the scientific and innovative enterprise "BashInkom". Within two years, it is planned to master the release of new drugs here that are produced on a biological basis without antibiotics.

"Analysis and quality control of honey are the main pre-condition and requirement if we want to export our sweet products abroad in industrial volumes", Rustem Khamitov underlined. "The brand "Bashkir honey" should be associated with high quality - taste, wholesome composition and ecological properties.
