The Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov stated this at a meeting devoted to the preparation and holding of the XLVII International Beekeeping Congress "Apimondia" in 2021.

The Head of the Region marked that successful holding of the Congress would become a "priceless image capital", which should be used "to the full extent and in all areas".

"The "Bashkir Honey" brand should be recognizable with its packaging, decoration and most importantly, high quality, taste, wholesome composition, and ecological properties so that it cannot be confused with other products", said Rustem Khamitov.

The Head of the Republic stressed that the beekeepers themselves should also be responsible for their products, like any other producers.

In 2021 Bashkortostan will host the XLVII International Beekeeping Congress "Apimondia". It is expected that about 10 thousand participants from 80 countries will arrive in the republic. Before this, Russia hosted the International Beekeeping Congress only once: the forum was held in Moscow in 1971.
