Cooperation agreement on national qualification system development has been signed

Yesterday, within the framework of the meeting of the Republican Tripartite Commission for Regulation of Social and Labor Relations, an agreement was signed between the Government of Bashkortostan and the National Agency for Qualifications Development. It was related to the cooperation in the field of the national qualifications system development. The document was signed by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the agency's general director Alexander Leibovich.

The document assumes a formation and development of regional infrastructure of the national qualifications system in the republic, analysis, and generalization of the experience of assessing competencies and skills of human resources in the region, application of professional standards in the secondary professional and higher education systems, development of mechanisms for interaction between employers and educational organizations, development of approaches to assessing general competencies of qualified personnel and other areas of cooperation.

The head of the republic stressed that the issue of improving the quality of training specialists, ensuring its practical orientation, continuous development of professional competencies was gaining special significance today.

“I am confident that the conclusion of an agreement with the National Agency for Qualifications Development will improve a mechanism of interaction between employers and professional education organizations, including on the basis of public-private partnerships, and, of course, will improve the quality of specialists training”, Rustem Khamitov said.
