Bashkiria delegation completed its work at Eastern Economic Forum

UFA, 13 September 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The delegation of Bashkiria completed its work at the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok. As a result of the EEF-2018, a document on investment intentions was signed for 36 billion rubles. This is an agreement with LLC Taurus on soda ash plant construction at the Gumerovskoye deposit in the Sterlitamak district.

On the sidelines of the forum, negotiations were held with the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Vadim Zhivulin, Deputy Director of the Russian Fund for Direct Investments Alexander Malakh, Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank, Head of the Integrated Mono-City Development Program, General Director of the Mono-Cities Development Fund Irina Makieva, and He Zhenwei, Secretary-General of the Russian Center for Chinese Association. Besides, negotiations were also conducted with the management of the group of companies "Tau", "PhosAgro-Region" LLC and representative offices of the joint-stock company Hitachi Ltd in Moscow.

These meetings were aimed at establishing an effective direct connection between the republic's leadership and business and development institutions, the Ministry of Economic Development RB reports.

Members of the delegation took part in panel sessions regarding the infrastructure support mechanisms of investors, management of systemic changes in the business environment, as well as the problems faced by entrepreneurs.
