Tourist flow to Bashkiria increased by 40% this summer

Following the summer season (from May to August inclusive), the tourist flow to the republic exceeded 720,000 people, the State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism informs. This is by 40% more than the last summer.

The total number of visitors to nature protection zones (the Bashkiria National Park, the Bashkir reserve, the South Ural reserve, the Shulgan-Tash reserve) and the nature parks (Kandry-Kul, Muradymovskoye Gorge, Asly-Kul, Iremel) was more than 120 thousand people.

Since the beginning of the year, the republic was visited by 872 thousand tourists (26% more than the period from January to August 2017). 636 thousand guests and residents of the republic took part in various events.
