Rustem Khamitov: "Our joint activities with Gazprom show good progress"

UFA, 7 September 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of PJSC Gazprom Valery Golubev.

Heads of the departments of PJSC Gazprom, subsidiaries of the company, members of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan also took part in the meeting.

The parties discussed the development of the regional gas transportation system, investment cooperation, implementation of joint projects, intensification of oil and gas chemical production, expansion of gas engine fuel use, and others.

The Head of Bashkortostan stressed the importance of joint work with Gazprom for the republic.

“Our joint activities with Gazprom show good progress, as always. Of course, we will continue them further", Rustem Khamitov marked.

Valery Golubev said that the republic will expand production of petrochemicals and gas chemistry.

“Today there is a real and quite significant oil and gas chemical cluster here, it's a fact. In other regions, we are just discussing this", the Gazprom top manager said.

During the meeting, it was discussed social partnership strengthening issues.

“Firstly, we are starting to build new facilities. Secondly, next year we will hold International Children’s Games together. These are major sports competitions for children gathering athletes from half the world. We are grateful to Gazprom for accepting our offer to co-finance this great children's campaign", said the Head of Bashkortostan.
