Experts named sunniest summer day in Bashkortostan
UFA, 7 September 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Bashkir solar power plants are in the lead in terms of electric power output during the past summer. Out of 92 days, 83 were sunny here, experts of the Hevel Group of Companies report.
"For 92 summer days, the total output of Buribaevskaya and Isyangulovskaya solar power plants with a total capacity of 29 MW was 13,126,294 kWh," experts noted.
The sunniest day was June 21, when the daily solar output of both stations reached 193 162 kWh. The second and third places in the level of solar insolation fell on June 25 and July 24, respectively.
At the same time, during the summer, 83 sunny days were recorded, when the electricity production figures exceeded the standard ones.
The methodology is based on the installed capacity utilization factor (ICUF) used in the electric power industry, the readings of which were taken from each solar power plant during the three summer months. The days when the planned ICUF was exceeded were rated as completely cloudless.
