Meleuz investor will invest more than 1 billion rubles in follow-up milk production in Bashkiria

The Meleuz Milk Cannery CJSC plans to organize dairy products manufacturing for baby food - a substitute for breast milk. Modern technologies and high automation of processes will allow producing sterilized products for children from the first days of life in aseptic conditions.

The project worth more than 1 billion rubles is designed for the period until 2020. Today it was included in the list of priority investment projects of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Economic Development RB informs.

10 thousand tons of dry formula per year will make a basis of the new assortment. This will be a new production site for the full cycle at the Meleuz Milk Cannery - from the acceptance of raw milk to the packaging of finished products.

The investor requests state support in the form of subsidies, tax, and property benefits. With the introduction of baby food production, the combine expects to save 340 jobs and create 80 new ones.

Meleuz Milk Cannery CJSC is engaged in the production of whole and sour-milk products, cheeses, milk powder and cream.
