Unemployed number reduced in capital of Bashkiria

UFA, 27 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The number of unemployed Ufa residents is decreasing, the city employment service informed the Bashinform News Agency.

Since the beginning of the year, the number of "official" unemployed in the capital of Bashkortostan has decreased from 5.1 to 4.8 thousand people.

The unemployment rate, respectively, also declined from 0.86 to 0.8 percent.

The number of vacancies, on the contrary, has increased. Thus, there were about 17.7 thousand vacancies at the beginning of this year in Ufa, and currently, there are more than 24.3 thousand of them, the city employment service underlined.

As regarding the situation in the labor market in the republic in general, then at present, there are more than 19 thousand officially registered unemployed and 46 thousand vacant jobs in Bashkiria.
