Grain harvest in Bashkiria exceeded 1.3 million tons
UFA, 24 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The agrarians of Bashkiria, with an average yield of 20.2 centners per hectare, have now harvested more than 1.3 million tons of grain, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB reported.
For today in the region, 689 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops are cut. 658 thousand of them have been threshed.
The leaders in harvesting are the grain-growers of Chekmagush district, which collected more than 75,000 tons of grain.
The agrarians of the Sterlitamak region with a yield of 73 thousand tons are in the second place.
The top three farms is closed with the Ilishevo and Meleuz regions - 64.9 and 64.4 thousand tons, respectively.
