Industrial production increased by 3.3% in Bashkortostan year to date

UFA, 17 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. In January-July, the volume of industrial production in Bashkiria increased by 3.3%, compared to the same last year's result. The nationwide industry added 3.1%.

According to official statistics, furniture production (up 26%), other vehicles and equipment (by 16.1%), medicines and materials (by 12.9%) showed positive results this year. Water supply, water disposal, waste collection and disposal, production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers had an increase of 8.5%, chemical industry - 7.4%. Besides the extraction of minerals, production of other non-metallic mineral products (105.5-105.9%) and a number of other directions showed positive indices.

Manufacturers of electrical equipment, finished metal products (by 26.1-26.7%), leather, products and leather, clothing (23.6-23.8%), printing products (20%) significantly reduced last year's volumes.
