Average amount of consumer loans in Bashkiria increased by 30%

The average amount of consumer loans in Bashkiria in the second quarter was 157 thousand rubles against 120.8 thousand in April-June last year. The growth is almost 30%. Such conclusions were made by analysts of the National Bureau of Credit Histories, which analyzed the data of 4,100 creditors across the country.

"The main growth in the segment of consumer lending is not so much because of the increase in the number of issued consumer loans, but due to the increase in their average volume", says the general director of the National Bureau of Credit Histories, Alexander Vikulin.

The expert marks that borrowers with a good credit history and a higher level of income have recently shifted from "savings" activity to more active consumption strategy.

In general, the average amount of consumer loan in the country increased by 35.5% over the year and amounted to 196.8 thousand rubles. This index is significantly higher in Moscow (492 thousand rubles) and Moscow Region (342.5), St. Petersburg (325) and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District (300.6). The lowest indicator is in the Altai Territory (118.1 thousand rubles) and the Kemerovo Region (135.6).
