Bashkir Soda Company gained 5.2 billion rubles in net profit for six months

UFA, 14 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Elvira Latypova/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The Bashkir Soda Company completed the first half of the year with a net profit under RAS of 5.19 billion rubles, which is comparable to the interim results of the previous year (5.21 billion).

The revenues amounted to 21.2 billion rubles, cost of goods sold - 13.1 billion, gross profit - 8.2 billion, it is specified in the financial statements of the company.

The company’s accounts payable slightly decreased and amounted to 2.5 billion rubles. At the same time, the debts of buyers and customers to the company increased significantly from 1 billion rubles to 6.3 billion rubles in the first half of 2017.

The Bashkir Soda Company (Sterlitamak) is the largest producer of calcined and baking soda in the country, one of the leaders in the PVC, caustic soda and soft cable compounds production. According to kartoteka.ru, the main shareholders of BSC are Bashkhim JSC (57.18% of shares) and the Ministry of Property of Bashkiria (38.27%).
