Deputies submitted draft law on gasoline prices state regulation to Duma

Deputies from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation submitted to the State Duma a draft law that proposes to introduce state regulation of gasoline and diesel fuel prices, RIA Novosti reports citing the database of the lower house of the parliament. The document provides that from the beginning of 2019 the Government will be able to set a maximum price for fuel. As noted, this measure will protect consumers from strong price fluctuations and a sharp increase in gasoline costs.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency informed that the cost of gasoline and diesel fuel at Ufa stations continues to remain unchanged. According to statisticians, at present the average price per liter of 92 RON gasoline in the capital of Bashkiria is 40.59 rubles; 95 RON - 43.63 rubles, 98 RON - 47.87 rubles. A liter of diesel fuel costs 43.85 rubles in Ufa. Compared with July 31 last year, diesel fuel has risen in the Bashkir capital by 14.6 percent. The 92 RON gasoline became more expensive for the same time by 11.8 percent, the 95 RON - by 10.9 percent. In May this year, the cost of gasoline rose in Bashkiria six times.
