Rustem Khamitov: "Our mega-task is to make agriculture modern in next 10 years"

In the next ten years, modernization of the republican agriculture should be carried out, which will allow agrarians to reach the modern level of work organization. This was stated by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov during his working trip to the Buzdyak district.

The head of the region marked that at present the agro-industrial complex was more and more aligned with the times.

“Nevertheless, I constantly, including during my working trips, promote the necessity of the following areas of work: digital agriculture, digitalization of agriculture, modern management systems using databases on technical, information, financial flows, human resources”, Rustem Khamitov noted.

The head of the republic said that drones were actively used in agricultural production, which assessed the quality of the crops, read data from temperature, moisture sensors, and checked availability of certain elements in the soil.

“Actually, a mega-task for the next ten years is to make our agriculture modern. It is not just reaching some self-sufficient level, but being competitive and produce competitive products", stressed Rustem Khamitov.
