Unemployed number is declining and salaries are growing in Bashkiria

For comparison: at the beginning of this year the number of registered unemployed reached 20.7 thousand people.

The level of "official" unemployment in the region also decreased - from 1 to 0.97 percent.

For today there are more than 49 thousand jobs in the republican bank of vacancies.

As Yury Melnikov, the deputy minister of the family and labor of Bashkiria, said earlier, in the first six months of this year, the region experienced a significant improvement in the main indicators characterizing the situation in the labor market.

"Compared to the beginning of the year, the level of total unemployment in the republic decreased from 5.6 to 5.1 percent. The number of unemployed decreased by 6.6 percent amounting to 19.3 thousand people by July 1. For the first half of 2018, employers have announced 141,000 vacancies. This is by 4.9 percent more than a year ago. By early July, the number of vacancies increased by 26 percent or by more than 11 thousand - from 42.9 to 54.2 thousand jobs", he stated at a meeting of the Ministry of Labor board.

According to Yury Melnikov, the average monthly salary of employees continues to grow in the region. For January-May this year it increased by 10.4 percent and reached almost 32 thousand rubles.

"Against a slowdown in inflation, wage growth is also ensured in real terms - 108.8 percent compared to 101.2 percent by early July 2017," Yury Melnikov added.
