Labor productivity should be increased in Bashkortostan agriculture - Rustem Khamitov

The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov stated this during a roundtable devoted to the production and sale of agricultural products. The event was held within the framework of the seminar-meeting "Field Day-2018".

"I remind you once again that the world standard is four people per thousand hectares of arable land. Four people are plowing, sowing, fertilizing, supervising, taking care of these crops, harvesting", said Rustem Khamitov. "This is a world standard, to which we should strive for. Our best advanced farms have figures considerably higher - 10-15 people per thousand hectares. "

The head of the region underlined that the agriculture of Bashkortostan was approaching the best world examples in machinery equipping, applying technologies, using seed material.

"Thus, we also should adhere to the same strategy regarding the labor productivity", the head of the republic noted addressing to the agrarians.
