Rustem Khamitov held roundtable on agricultural products cultivation and sale

The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held a meeting of the "Production and sale of agricultural products" roundtable in the framework of the zone seminar-meeting "Field Day-2018" in the Karmaskaly district. The event was attended by heads and deputy heads of district administrations, specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, chief agronomists, and engineers of municipal administrations and departments of agriculture, heads of farms and branch enterprises.

Rustem Khamitov reminded about the high assessment that the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev gave to Bashkortostan.

"The Minister supported our offers in the field of meat, dairy cattle, poultry, and genetics. Also, the federal government will assist in holding in the republic the Apimondia World Congress of Beekeepers in 2021", said the head of the region.

The head of Bashkortostan noted that the volume of state support of the industry exceeded 4.5 billion rubles in 2018: 2.5 billion rubles were allocated from federal resources, about 2 billion from regional resources. The republic plans to allocate an additional 200 million rubles in the near future to recover part of the cost of purchasing chemicals, 460 million rubles for the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment, 200 million rubles for unrelated support in connection with a rise in price of petroleum products and 140 million rubles for the third tranche for milk produced in May this year.

Rustem Khamitov told about the importance of diversifying agricultural production and expanding a product line, as well as improving productivity and the need to digitize the agriculture, including modern ERP systems.

In 2018, more than 300 million rubles will be allocated for the implementation of income-generating projects of citizens to create cooperatives. Support for the development of small forms of economy constitutes more than 700 million rubles, the head of Bashkortostan said.

The republic also has to solve the tasks of supporting the export of agricultural products, further increasing the volume of agricultural production, as well as increasing the profitability of enterprises.
