Tourism development results were summed up in Bashkiria

According to the rating of the "TourStat" analytical agency, Bashkortostan entered the Top-10 regions popular among tourists during the New Year holidays of 2018. In the New Year holidays, the republic was visited by about 150 thousand people in the framework of the "Amazing, New-Year Bashkortostan" project. The "Abzakovo" ski resort took the second place in the rating of popular ski resorts during the holidays in February and March of this year. The rest on Lake Yakty-Kul (Bannoye) was included in the Top-3 holiday destinations on the lakes of Russia and the Top-10 popular destinations for summer holidays in Russia.

In order to create conditions for the development of the tourist infrastructure and formation of an accessible and comfortable tourist environment the "Burzyan Tourist and Recreational Cluster Development" investment project was included in the List of Priority Investment Projects of the republic. In addition, this project was included in the plan of measures for the Federal Target Program implementation "Domestic and Incoming Tourism Development in the Russian Federation (2019-2025)". Additionally, investment processes accelerated and the "Mountain Resorts of Bashkiria "Legend of the Urals" tourist and recreational cluster continued its fast development.

Representatives of the tourism industry of Bashkortostan took part in the 6th Russian-Chinese Tourist Forum and Tourism Exhibition "Intourmarket-2018", as well as in the MITT-2018 International Tourist Exhibition in Moscow.

The 2nd Fair of Children's Tours was held to promote summer children's rest.

In May, a press tour over Bashkortostan took place for representatives of South Korean media. In June, Bashkortostan took part in the Road Show Visit Russia as part of the World Travel Fair KOTFA 2018 in Seoul in order to promote the tourist potential of our region.

In April of this year, a tourist brand of the republic "TERRA BASHKIRIA" was presented and is now actively used.

This information was announced at the board of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for Entrepreneurship and Tourism devoted to the results of the half-year.
