Bashkir delegation studies new technologies and equipment at All-Russian Field Day

UFA, 6 July 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. A delegation of Bashkiria left for the Lipetsk region to participate in the All-Russian Field Day. As the employee of the Bashkir Agricultural Research Institute Guldar Nuriyeva reported, yesterday, congress and exhibition events took place there. More than one thousand models of agricultural machinery are presented at the sites of the testing station. At the roundtables and conferences, topical issues of the development of the agro-industrial complex were discussed. Delegates from Bashkortostan also visited the "Mechanization" and "Agronomy" routes. The delegation includes the heads of relevant institutions, enterprises of the agro-industrial complex, heads of agricultural directorates and departments of municipal districts, representatives of scientific organizations.
"The Field Day is a platform for acquaintance with modern varieties and hybrids of agricultural crops, technologies, and equipment used today," said the Dean of the Faculty of Agro-Technologies and Forestry of Bashkortostan State Agrarian University Ilgiz Asylbayev.
In addition, representatives of the university met at the Field Day with the developers of the Agronomist Diary application, which Bashkortostan State Agrarian University plans to purchase and supply to each student on a tablet. The application allows controlling, accounting and handling crops using machinery and drones in the fields.
On July 6, an official opening of the All-Russian Field Day will be held. On this day, the new Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev will hold a meeting "On the Progress of Harvesting Works and the Crop Sector Development Strategy". More than 300 companies from 67 regions of the country will participate in the event, organizers expect 1,5 thousand guests.
The field day has been organized since 2004 as a platform for the exchange of experience among farmers with an exhibition of modern agricultural technologies, demonstration of innovative methods of land use and the state-of-the-art agricultural machinery.
