Business attraction to geological industry was discussed in Bashkiria

UFA, 5 July 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The republican authorities are focused on attracting business to the geological industry of Bashkortostan. The Government of the republic discussed how to start work on explored deposits and introduce their economic turnover. According to the Chairman of the State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Vyacheslav Gilyazitdinov, small and medium-sized businesses can develop deposits of common minerals (stone, sand, and clay) in the Trans-Ural region and the north-eastern regions. But additional mechanisms of financial support are needed to stimulate such projects.

To date, JSC Regional Leasing Company RB provides leasing of new Russian or imported equipment at a preferential rate of 6% to 8% per annum. Support can be used by sole traders and small enterprises that meet the established requirements and plan to organize, expand or modernize production.

Also, entrepreneurs have an opportunity to use the services of the Microcredit Small Business Company of the Republic of Bashkortostan and receive microloans on preferential terms, the services of the Guarantee and Leasing Fund, the Investment Initiatives Support Fund.

Work is being done to inform entrepreneurs about free niches. An electronic version of the Bashkiria mineral deposits map was created.
