Koumiss producers contest will be held at Yumatovo Spa Resort in Bashkiria

UFA, 3 July 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. 46% of Russian koumiss (mare’s milk drink) is produced in Bashkortostan - more than three thousand tons. To identify the best masters and share their experience the republican contest of koumiss producers will be held at the Yumatovo Spa Resort on July 13. It will be attended by specialists selected at district competitions.

Last year, the contest was held in the Davlekanovo district, the winner was then the Yumatovo koumiss producer Rushan Nabiullin, the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs. He received the main prize - a stallion of the Bashkir breed. The republican competition is held for several years, it has emerged from local events - seminars and meetings of agricultural specialists.
