Road between Sterlitamak and Orenburg can become four-lane

UFA, 29 June 2018. /Bashinform News Agency / translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Bashkiria and the Orenburg region can be connected by a new modern road. This was reported by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.

"We together with the Governor of the Orenburg region, Yuri Alexandrovich Berg, consider an issue of making the road from Sterlitamak to Orenburg in four-lane execution", said Rustem Khamitov. "It would be a modern road, beside with an access to Kazakhstan, China - and the car flow will increase many times."

Recall that in 2014 at the "Trans-Urals" economic forum the leaders of neighboring regions signed an agreement on cooperation. According to the head of the republic, Bashkortostan and the Orenburg region are "connected by thousands of threads".

"This is a real, normal, right thing to do, when the neighboring regions, assist each other, live in harmony and help the business development", said Rustem Khamitov.
