Bashneft shareholders approved dividends of 158.95 rubles per share for 2017

UFA, 29 June 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Bashneft shareholders at the annual general meeting approved payment of dividends for 2017 at the rate of 158.95 rubles per ordinary and preferred shares, TASS reported.

Thus, the total amount of payment will be 28.2 billion rubles. Taking into account the dividends for the 9 months of 2017 in the amount of 26.3 billion rubles, the total payments to shareholders will exceed 38% of the net profit under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for 2017.

Bashneft is one of the oldest enterprises of the Russian oil industry, it has been operating since 1932. More than 180 deposits are in its industrial operation, according to the website of the company.

In 2016, 50.1% of Bashneft's shares were purchased by Rosneft. For that year, the company did not pay dividends on ordinary shares, having transferred about 3 billion rubles for payments on preferred shares. In 2015, Bashkiria received 7.2 billion rubles of dividends from Bashneft, in 2014 - just over 5 billion rubles.
