"Burzyan" cluster will develop at expense of investors - Rustem Khamitov
UFA, 27 June 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The "Burzyan" tourist cluster is planned to be developed using the investor resources. This was reported by the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, noting an important role of the private sector in the development of infrastructure projects.
"We are working to attract private investors," said the head of the region. "For example, the "Burzyan" cluster is estimated at a total of 2.5-3 billion rubles. Federal and republican resources constitute approximately 500-700 million rubles maximum. The rest is accounted for a private sector. People see prospects, they start building. This is not one, not two people, but dozens of people, dozens of options for the development of tourism. These are recreation facilities, holiday hotels, horses, apiaries, something else. Thus, they represent quite a large amount of funds. And we supply infrastructure, good roads, electricity, gas - where they are needed. Strictly speaking, such a symbiosis will give good results.”
Recall that the "Burzyan" cluster is included in the federal program "Domestic and Incoming Tourism Development" designed until 2025. A tourist and recreational cluster will be formed in the territory of Burzyan, Kugarchi and Kuyurgazy districts. In addition, work is underway in the republic to form such tourist clusters as the "Legends of the Urals", "Asly-Kul", "Kandry-kul", "Ufa".
