Rustem Khamitov met with Rosspetsmash Association President Konstantin Babkin

UFA, 26 June 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with a President of the Rosspetsmash Association Konstantin Babkin in Ufa. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture RB Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation strengthening, implementation of the federal subsidy program for domestic producers of agricultural machinery, and the use of alternative fuels.

The head of the region marked that over the past seven years, in Bashkortostan, about 20,000 units of machinery and equipment had been purchased for a total of 25.6 billion rubles. In particular, according to the republican program, more than 1,5 thousand combine harvesters have been purchased, including more than 1,300 - produced by the "Rostselmash" company.

The Russian Association of Manufacturers of Specialized Machinery and Equipment (Rosspetsmash Association) unites 187 enterprises, including producers of agricultural and construction machinery, food equipment, parts, trailers and semi-trailers. Its activities are aimed at protecting the interests of domestic specialized machinery in the governmental bodies, promoting the industry's products in the domestic and foreign markets, developing and examining technical standards and regulations, addressing issues of modernization and improving the quality of manufactured equipment and facilities.
