New berth received first passenger ship in Ufa

In Ufa, a landing pier at the "Yunost" center on the Belaya River accommodated the first passenger ship "Alexander Sveshnikov", who arrived on a tourist route from Nizhny Novgorod. Total, 17 tourist ships from different regions of the country are planning to visit Ufa in the navigation of 2018.

The berth at the Monument of Friendship was dismantled in connection with the reconstruction of the embankment. The temporary station for river vessels will operate for two seasons, the State Committee for Transport RB reported. A temporary fixed berth will provide motor ships with electric power, motor vehicles can come here.

Dredging equipment has been working on the river near the Salavat Yulaev Monument for several weeks. As explained by the department, it is necessary to maintain a depth of two meters for the passage of cruise and cargo vessels at this part of the river.
