Neurology and Rehabilitation Clinical Institute will be opened in Ufa by 2020

A project is being implemented in Ufa to create a multi-profile rehabilitation complex in the form of the public-private partnership. On the grounds of the concession agreement, the Medstandart medical holding will invest 427 million rubles in the reconstruction and equipping of a two-storey building (with an area of 897 square meters located on a land plot of about 0.5 hectares) of the Republican Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities at October Avenue 133/2. As a result, the premises will become a 4-6-storey building, with an area of about 8 thousand square meters, for 100 beds for adults and children.

The Medstandart holding will manage the Clinical Institute of Neurology and Rehabilitation for a period of 25 years. The institution should open in 2020, the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported.

"The project has a significant social burden: the region needs rehabilitation centers where the most common and simultaneously disabling diseases of the nervous, cardiovascular systems, musculoskeletal system, oncological and other diseases would be treated", the department noted.
