Fitch Ratings upgraded Bashkortostan's outlook

UFA, 4 June 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The long-term credit rating of Bashkortostan is confirmed at the level of "ВВВ-", the outlook was changed from "Stable" to "Positive". This decision was made by the Fitch Ratings International Agency, the press service of the republican Government reports.

Positive factors influencing the change in the outlook are a high performance of the budget, low level of debt burden, balanced budget policy, as well as sustainable economic development.

Thus, to date, Bashkortostan has a credit rating at the same level as the Russian Federation, Tatarstan, the Tyumen Region, the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
