Bashkiria sold export products for 23.25 billion rubles in first quarter

According to the Bashkortostan Customs, in the first quarter of this year, the foreign trade turnover amounted to $ 448.4 million, of which $ 369.2 million was export. The exports increased by almost $ 60 million compared to the first three months of last year. The cost volume grew mainly due to engineering and chemical products.
The latter accounted for 41% of the country's foreign trade turnover: mainly styrene, rubber, butyl ether. A share of 30.4% was taken by engineering products - aircraft engines and parts thereof, 17.5% - mineral products (hydrocarbon mixtures, liquid pyrolysis products). Sugar and fodder barley were sold abroad from food products - a share of 3.4%.
In the first quarter, goods were imported to the republic for $ 79.2 million. In value terms, 44% was accounted for machine-building products - cars, equipment for chipboard manufacturing, 37% for raw materials for pharmaceuticals, 9% - metals and metal products: polycrystalline composites, elements and parts of equipment and machines.
According to the head of Bashkortostan customs Marat Safiullin, on results of three months, the department transferred more than 1.5 billion rubles to the federal budget.
