Bashkortostan mono-cities development was discussed at St. Petersburg forum

The Prime Minister of the Bashkortostan Government Rustem Mardanov and Minister of Economic Development RB Sergei Novikov met with the head of the "Integrated Development of Mono-cities" program, the Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank Irina Makieva and General Director of the Mono-cities Development Fund Ilya Krivogov within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
As the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade RB has informed, the results of agreements implementation concluded between the republic and the Fund in the part of the development of municipal entities with a mono-profile economic structure were discussed during the meeting. An issue of activities implementation and key indicators of the "Integrated Development of Mono-cities" priority program were under consideration.
Special attention was paid to the priority development areas "Belebey" and "Kumertau" functioning in the republic, as well as measures to attract residents to these "economic zone". In addition, the parties talked about the ongoing work on creating PDAs in the remaining four mono-territories of the region - Beloretsk, Blagoveshchensk, Neftekamsk, and Uchaly.
Interaction of Bashkortostan with the Mono-cities Development Fund is carried out in such areas as co-financing of infrastructure facilities necessary for the implementation of investment projects and providing investors with soft loans.
