Cheese factory and rapeseed plant as well as large livestock complex will be built in Bashkiria

The Bashkiria List of Priority Investment Projects has been replenished with new projects in the field of agro-industrial complex, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of the region reports.

In particular, it relates a construction of modern livestock farms for five thousand milk cows in the Kaltasy and Buraevo districts, as well as a construction of a cheese factory in the Kaltasy district. The initiator of the project is Pobeda LLC.

The total investment is 2.3 billion rubles. It is planned to create 170 new jobs. Three stages of construction are supposed. The implementation of a large-scale project is from 2018 to 2025.

According to experts, the implementation of this investment project will help increase volume and quality of raw milk production, increase milk processing and dairy production in the region, and develop export potential.

In addition, the List of Priority Projects of Bashkiria includes a project to organize a complex for the cultivation and processing of rapeseed and cereals in the Askino district.

The initiator of the project - Oleokmiks LLC, plans to build a rapeseed processing plant in this region with a capacity of more than 30,000 tons of seeds per year and production of vegetable oil in the amount of more than 10,000 tons per year. Here, an elevator will be built with a storage capacity of 50 thousand tons.

The total volume of investments is 1.6 billion rubles with the creation of 148 new jobs.

The project is scheduled for 2020.

The investment attractiveness of this project is mainly due to the high demand for rapeseed oil in world markets. Besides, there is a steady demand for rape cake from both foreign buyers and the domestic market.
