Average salary and number of employees are counted in Bashkiria

UFA, 16 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. According to the latest data from sample surveys, the number of the able-bodied population of Bashkiria exceeds 1.955 million people. The average salary in the republic in February this year was 30 411 rubles, according to the Ministry of Labor RB.

According to the International Labor Organization (ILO) standards, there are now 105.4 thousand unemployed in Bashkiria. The ILO's unemployment rate is 5.4 percent.

Meanwhile, according to official data of the employment service, there were 21.2 thousand registered unemployed and 48.5 thousand vacant jobs by the end of April this year in Bashkiria.

A tension coefficient in the labor market, or the ratio of the unemployed number to the number of vacancies, was 0.5.

The level of registered unemployment in the republic was 1.06 percent in April.

In general, in the first four months of 2018, about 19.7 thousand residents of Bashkortostan were deregistered from the employment service in connection with employment. Almost 16 thousand people received a status of the unemployed in the region for this time.
