Additional one billion rubles will be allocated for education development in Bashkiria

UFA, 4 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. An additional one billion rubles will be allocated for the development of education in Bashkiria. As instructed by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov, additional funds of 1 billion rubles will be used to create safe, modern and comfortable conditions for schoolchildren of the republic in 2018.

The issue on strengthening the financial and technical base of educational institutions was approved on May 3 at a meeting of the Presidium of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

"These funds will be used to repair more than 140 educational organizations in 30 municipalities of the republic," explained the Education Minister RB Gulnaz Shafikova. "50 state educational organizations will be provided with fire safety facilities, the requirements of anti-terrorist protection will be achieved in 3,700 schools and kindergartens."

The funds will also be used to create technoparks in the monocities of the republic, to conduct overhaul repairs of children's health camps (39 camps in 14 municipal districts), and to create pre-universities.

It is planned to direct 100 million rubles on purchasing equipment for creating specialized centers of competence in accordance with WorldSkills Russia standards, and another 10 million rubles for the gifted children and youth support.

At the same meeting, it was decided to allocate more than half a billion rubles for the development of the health sector.
