Russian Government approved tobacco, clothing, perfume and linen marking since 2019

UFA, 3 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The order of the Russian Government approved a list of goods for which marking will be required in 2019. The list includes tobacco products, perfumes and toilet water, various garments, shoe goods, cameras. The corresponding document is posted on the website of the Cabinet.

Tobacco products marking will be mandatory since March 1 next year, perfumes, toilet water, genuine leather garments, bed linen, cameras marking - since December 1, shoe goods - since July 1.

"The list of goods is formed taking into account the peculiarities of market conditions and the terms of commodity circulation in the relevant markets. The purpose of the decision is to reduce the turnover of counterfeit products in Russia", the Government said.

The order will come into force since January 1, 2019.
