Works on old Belsky Bridge reconstruction are continued in Ufa

UFA, 19 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. In Ufa, works on reconstructing the old Belsky Bridge are continued. Within the first stage of restoration works, specialists strengthen the reinforced concrete foundation of the structure at the level of the 11th support. It is located at the entrance from Zaki Validi Street. Also, the builders are to carry out a complete replacement of the reinforced concrete span structure, to dismantle the above-ground part of the piers No. 1, 8 and 11, and then construct new ones in their place.

As reported by the "All Ufa" television channel, workers install the structures according to a special Mauer technology. Experts say that due to this approach water will not enter the inter-span joints.

Completion of the bridge reconstruction is scheduled for early summer.
