Copper mine construction project is included in Priorities List in Bashkortostan
UFA, 17 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. A new project in the field of copper ore extraction and enrichment is included in the Priority Investment Projects List of Bashkortostan, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development RB reported.
It relates construction of an underground mine to develop the Novo-Uchalinsky copper-pyrite ore deposit with a production capacity of 4.5 million tons per year. Due to it, it is planned to create 785 jobs. The initiator of the project is the Uchalinsky ore mining and processing enterprise.
The total investment is 22.7 billion rubles.
The project implementation period is until 2063.
The investment project is aimed at implementation of mining and capital works with equipping the mine deposits with the necessary engineering networks and equipment, as well as for the construction of surface buildings and structures.
Thus, at the first stage of the Upper Stage development, it is planned to reach the production capacity of 1.1 million tons of ore per year, at the second stage - 3.3 million tons, at the third - 4.5 million tons.
Currently, the list of priority investment projects in Bashkiria includes 49 projects with a total value of over 197 billion rubles. In case of their successful implementation, it will be possible to create more than 12,000 new jobs.
