Mortgage rate decreased in Bashkiria - National Bank

UFA, 11 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. The average weighted mortgage interest rate decreased by March 1 to 9.8 percent in Bashkiria. At the beginning of the year, it was 10.6 percent, the press service of the National Bank of the Republic reported.

By March 1 this year mortgage housing loans debt amounted to 144.305.9 million rubles. The amount of overdue mortgage debt reached 1 249.0 million rubles by this time.

In the first two months of 2018, 6,873 mortgage loans were issued in Bashkiria for a total amount of 11,011.9 million rubles.

In January-February 2017, banks issued 3,189 loans in the region for a total of 4,760.5 million rubles.

The weighted average term of mortgage loans in Bashkiria increased to 177.6 months by March 1 of this year. Nationwide this figure is 190.5 months, the National Bank representatives stated.
