More than 1.9 thousand Ufa residents were laid off since beginning of year
UFA, 9 April 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Since the beginning of the year, 102 enterprises and organizations of Ufa had to fire 1,928 people. The number of employees expected to be dismissed was 2,147 people, according to the latest data from the employment service.
As the Bashinform News Agency was informed, 951 people were employed from the number of laid-off employees. Of these, 895 were employed in their organization. 45 Ufa citizens who had been made redundant addressed for help to the employment service.
To date, there are more than five thousand officially registered unemployed in the capital of Bashkiria. A total of about 5.7 thousand Ufa residents are currently registered with the employment service.
The level of registered unemployment in Ufa is 0.86 percent. The number of "official" vacancies for the past week has slightly increased and reached almost 17.3 thousand.
