Bashkortostan priority investment projects list includes two enterprises for copper ore extraction and enrichment

The Priority Investment Projects List of Bashkortostan is replenished by two new facilities in the field of extraction and enrichment of copper ore, the press service of the republican Government reported. It concerns maintaining a production capacity of JSC Sibaysky Mining and Processing Plant and Sibay Branch of Uchalinsky Mining and Processing Plant due to the preservation of the capacity of the Sibay underground mine for the ore extraction in the amount of 1.2 million tons per year. The construction of an additional reservoir for storing waste products of processing copper-bearing ores at the Sibaysky concentrator will reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment.

The total investment will amount to 3.4 billion rubles, the social effect - a creation of 14 new jobs. The term of the project: until 2019.

The second investment project is aimed at reconstructing facilities for cleaning the mine drainage and sub-waters of the Sibay and Kamagan deposits. The total volume of investments is 239.1 million rubles.

The project provides for an increase in the capacity of treatment facilities commissioned in May 2011 from 400 to 800 m3/h, bringing the level of cleaning of mine and sub-waters to the fishery standards. Construction and installation works include the construction of an extension to the existing treatment facilities with an installation of new technological equipment. The term of implementation: until 2021.

Currently, the Republican Priority Investment Projects List contains 46 projects with a total value of over 173.2 billion rubles. The number of new jobs is more than 11 thousand.
