Why do tourists visit Bashkortostan?

UFA, 29 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. A monitoring of a tourism sphere was conducted in Bashkiria. According to the State Committee RB for Entrepreneurship and Tourism, the number of trips to the republic increased by 60% compared to 2016. Arrivals for treatment and recovery increased by 66%. The number of pilgrims who came to local religious shrines increased seven times.

In the republic, the number of legal entities providing tourist services increased by 20%, and the number of sole traders decreased by 15%.

Investments in the arrangement of accommodation facilities (any object that regularly or sometimes provides tourists with overnight stays) allowed increasing the number of rooms by 9% and the number of beds by 50%. The number of overnight stops exceeded 1.7 million - an increase of 11%.
