Most profitable industries in Bashkiria - statistics

UFA, 26 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. For the year of 2017, the republican enterprises received profits amounting to 264.5 billion rubles, or 163.3% to the level of 2016, reports Bashkortostan Statistics agency. The largest contribution to total profit was made by the manufacturing industries - 226.1 billion rubles.

The enterprises of the transportation and storage sphere took the second place - 11.6 billion rubles. Institutions and companies engaged in professional, scientific and technical activities are the third - 10.6 billion.

Companies supplying electric energy, gas and steam; air conditioning are in the fourth place - 9.6 billion rubles.

The construction organizations are closing the top five, whose total profit for 2017 was 3.5 billion rubles.

Among the subjects of the Volga Federal District, Bashkortostan ranks second in terms of the net profit. It takes the ninth place in the country. The balanced profit of Russian companies amounted to 10 trillion rubles last year.

The share of unprofitable organizations of the republic was 21.3% for 2017. The amount of loss was 24.5 billion rubles.

According to statistics, Bashkortostan has the lowest percentage of unprofitable companies among the subjects of the Volga Federal District. Bashkortostan ranks fifth among the regions of Russia.
