Approximately two vacancies are accounted per every unemployed in Bashkiria

UFA, 23 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. Approximately two vacancies are accounted per every officially registered unemployed in the republic, the employment service reported.

In Bashkiria there are now about 22,200 officially registered unemployed and more than 42,000 vacant jobs. At the same time, the number of unemployed for the week decreased by almost 400 people.

The level of registered unemployment in the region is 1.11 percent. At the beginning of the year, this indicator was slightly lower and equaled 1 percent.

As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, the number of manpower in the region, according to the latest data from sample surveys, is about 1.996 million people. The average salary of workers in the republic exceeded 30 190 rubles in January this year.

In accordance with the standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the number of unemployed reaches 110,000 in Bashkiria. The ILO's unemployment rate is 5.5 percent.
